Known as the Goddess of Childbirth and the protector of women, Hera was always very possessive in regard to Zeus, her husband.
Otherwise, when not provoked, she was a calm, patient woman.
Hera had three children: Ares, the God of War; Hephaestus, the God of Fire and Metalworking; and Hebe, the Goddess of Youth and server of nectar to the gods.
