We decided at one time to get involved in the fight for better traffic safety conditions.

The statistics revealed terrible numbers: 50,000 killed on the streets and highways each year.

Perhaps our characters could collaborate with educational messages, examples, warnings in magazines, films, posters, to help staunch that slaughter.

We created a wonderful project with a plan for 28 films. Plus posters and magazines.

We focused on the ‘black holes’ in the traffic jungle in those 28 themes. The points of greatest danger.

The mayor’s office of Sao Paulo, and later the Ministry of Planning in Brasilia, were interested in the idea. But during the process of getting the campaign off the ground, a lack of funds and political problems brought the project to a halt.

This idea is one that Mauricio still wants to develop.
